Michael Morings
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Michael Morings started Dynasty Asset Management & Sales in 2007. Having over 20 years of Real Estate Investment and Property Management experience, Mr. Morings helps to ensure owners and investors quality service and advice with their Assets. Mr. Morings worked as an Asset Manager for the U.S. Department of Housing Urban Development in New Jersey and North Carolina for more than 9 years. Mr. Morings implements the strategic goals and objectives of the organization enabling the Board to fulfill its governance function. He gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. A licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker, Mr. Morings also holds the Accredited Residential Manager designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management, also a Certified Property Manager candidate. Mr. Morings also serves as the Broker-in-Charge for the firm. A native of New Jersey, Mr. Morings attended Morgan State University, majoring in Business Administration. He relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2004 and has been active in the community since.

Akilah Smith, AHM, TaCCs, CAPS
Regional Compliance Manager

Ms. Smith joined Dynasty Asset Management & Sales in November 2007. Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, she assists in the management of operations and implementation of policies and procedures. Ms. Smith provides leadership to and directs Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Site Operations, and Information Technology programs. She sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization. She also provides staff support to Board, committees and outside organizations and represents Dynasty at important functions. Ms. Smith attended Johnson C. Smith University, in Charlotte, NC as a Chemistry major. She is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker, a certified Human Resource Specialist, earned her Assisted Housing Manager Certification through Quadel Consulting and currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at UNCC. Ms. Smith has committed herself to empowering communities by setting the tone and philosophy that Dynasty wants to resonate.

LaQuanda Coulote, AHM
Occupancy Specialist

Ms. LaQuanda Coulote joined Dynasty Asset Management & Sales in January 2010 as the Occupancy Specialist. She is responsible for processing all tenant applications, recertification, and collecting reports from the Site Managers. Ms. Coulote's accuracy and attention to detail ensures proper application processing and review. Accuracy is key in helping Dynasty continue to receive Superior HUD ratings. Ms. Coulote is currently a Human Service major at Central Piedmont Community College. Coming from a non-profit background she is passionate about rebuilding and creating resources to improve the quality of life for individuals living in impoverished communities. Dedicated to helping the young and old live full and healthy lifestyles that promote overall well being, Ms. Coulote spends a lot of time volunteering in the community. She obtained her Assisted Housing Manager Certification through Quadel Consulting. With a wealth of knowledge in various fields, Ms. Coulote is a great addition to Dynasty Asset Management & Sales.
